Following the April 18 rsETH incident — in which an exploit of Kelp DAO's LayerZero OFT bridge minted ~116,500 unbacked rsETH — ecosystem participants pooled capital to restore rsETH backing and stabilize lending markets via the DeFi United relief effort.
